Covid Safety

In regards to the current situation with COVID-19 in Denmark, the MUNTI conference has appointed a Safety Officer and recruited extra staff to put safety measures in place and ensure that they are followed.  These measures are in accordance with those from the local government, and may be stricter to ensure that the environment is safe.

All unvaccinated delegates must be tested for COVID-19 before the conference and receive a negative result. All delegates must stay home if they experience symptoms of COVID-19 before or anytime during the conference.  These symptoms can include, but are not limited to, fever, dry cough, and fatigue.
There will be hand sanitizer pumps throughout the wing. We strongly suggest that everyone uses hand sanitizer when entering/leaving any room.  The conference will have its own wing in the school so the delegates will be kept completely separate from the other students at the school. In addition, the used wing has its own bathrooms.
We will have picnic tables outside of the conference’s wing which should be used at lunchtimes if the weather allows. Our staff will disinfect all of the tables before the beginning of each session. They will also regularly disinfect frequently-touched surfaces, such as doorknobs.
All staff will be wearing sterile gloves and following all safety measures when serving food/beverages during the sessions and lunch. We will seat all delegates as far away from each other as possible in committees and at lunch.

Our extra staff will ensure that all hand sanitizer and soap pumps are always full and that all surfaces which are frequently touched will be cleaned regularly.

All schools and delegates will receive an email notifying them of the final safety measures and guidelines before the conference.  Until then, the MUNTI website and social media accounts will remain updated.

If you have any questions regarding our safety measures, please turn to the Secretary General or the Safety Officer.  Any questions in relation to COVID safety in regards to housing should be directed toward the Head of Accommodation .
